This design of having the lecture be provided as homework through various types of technology for the students to have had completely prior to class, while the class time would then be used to engage in further discovery of the context of the lesson. I really do think that the "flipped classroom" method is an extremely effective way to run a classroom. I believe that this is extremely effective because making more time for hands-on, interactive programs in the classroom with the teacher would provide stronger lessons for the students. TeacherTube is the perfect source for a wide variety of educational videos that teachers can use to provide as the lessons that they would assign as lessons.

The assignments have taught me so many new skills for using PowerPoint that I never even knew were possible to do. I was unaware about how to create actions to make the presentations non-linear, as well as creating narrations on presentations. I liked that I was able to make the presentations so much more interactive and customized in new ways that I was not able to do before, as well as being able to make more fun games and quizzes and things like that. There wasn't anything that I didn't really like about the assignments.

I have enjoyed using twitter for this class. It has served as an easy way to communicate my thoughts about different assignments and topics from the class, as well as to see what kind of things my classmates are saying, as well. I have learned a lot of things from using twitter, especially from the pages that I have followed because I have read some amazing stories, seen good resources, and learned about a large variety different technologies. The benefits are that it's very quick and easy to use, as well as very easy to access for a large variety of students. I have not have any issues with twitter yet this year, other than I often forget to tweet for the class because it is such a small task to complete. Blog Post 10

I think that the use of data collection, analysis, and organizing this information on Excel will all be useful skills that I will now have for my hopeful future as a teacher. Collecting data in ways such as the surveys that we did in this course will be very helpful. I think I will be able to use this as a way to collect information on my students, as I wish to teach high school or college, as well as use it as a fun way to test knowledge on topics before teaching it, such as by creating non-graded quizzes to complete before class. I have a professor now who using the submission of surveys on Qualtrics to take attendance for class, but also has questions regarding information from the lesson to further test knowledge as well, and considering that she is my history professor and that it what I want to teach, it gives me a good idea for the usage in the future. There is a large variety of adaptive technologies available for the used of teachers, educators, workplaces, and other places where they would be helpful with dealing with people who have disabilities; in this case, students. Some examples of adaptive technologies available in schools are Digital recording softwares for recording lessons, which are helpful for students with learning disabilities, Zoomtext keyboards for the visually impaired, and Smartnav, for more physically impaired individuals.
