I have enjoyed using twitter for this class. It has served as an easy way to communicate my thoughts about different assignments and topics from the class, as well as to see what kind of things my classmates are saying, as well. I have learned a lot of things from using twitter, especially from the pages that I have followed because I have read some amazing stories, seen good resources, and learned about a large variety different technologies. The benefits are that it's very quick and easy to use, as well as very easy to access for a large variety of students. I have not have any issues with twitter yet this year, other than I often forget to tweet for the class because it is such a small task to complete.

Basically every aspect of the Web Design assignment was brand new to me. Some of the skills that I acquired during the process were linking calendars, creating a website in general, and a lot of organization skills. I specifically liked how easy it was to do on this site because it was very simple to use and easy to customize. The only thing that I didn't like was that I was unable to figure out how to rename the hyperlinks so it didn't show the entire address.

Diigo has been an extremely easy way to annotate different sources as well as share my resources with the class group. I didn't really learn any new skills because I have had to do a lot of annotating in the past, so I just learned how to use Diigo in general. This resource can be very useful for professional and educational platforms to use because it is easy to access and is a very good way to annotate articles and documents, while being able to share them with team members or just using them as notes and resources for your own personal work.

I went on the Florida State High School website to find class pages to view. It was very simple to access the list of class sites from the main page, where I was able to pick a department, and then choose a teacher within that department to view that specific page. Since I am a Pre-Social Science Education major, I chose the teacher who is the chair of the Social Studies department and who teaches classes that I am very interested in teaching. I chose the page for his  AP Human Geography  class, which he is teaching to high schoolers, since it is an introductory college-level class. There is a large variety of adaptive technologies available for the used of teachers, educators, workplaces, and other places where they would be helpful with dealing with people who have disabilities; in this case, students. Some examples of adaptive technologies available in schools are Digital recording softwares for recording lessons, which are helpful for students with learning disabilities, Zoomtext keyboards for the visually impaired, and Smartnav, for more physically impaired individuals. As discussed in the chapter and the podcast, these different adaptive technologies can be used to assist students by making their complications less debilitating in the classroom, maximizing their potential to learn for conforming to their specific disabilities, and providing them with the best opportunities to succeed.
