I think that twitter is a very beneficial platform for people in any profession, as it allows simple communication and seemingly unlimited access to a variety of convenient sources. I have been able to view a lot of god information for this class though twitter, as well as be able to see how my fellow classmates are feeling about this course. I think this will help my future career because it will allow me to communicate with students, as well as transfer information on a platform that many young adults will be able to relate to.

In a classroom that depends highly on technology, the digital divide may exemplify issues concerning students who do not have access to technology beyond the classroom. Some causes behind the digital divide are economic, environmental, and social differences between students. As a teacher, I may come across this issue, as students will come from many difference backgrounds, however, there are ways to avoid this issue affecting the success of these students in my classroom. I will make sure that as much technology use as possible occurs within the classroom, via technology that is not the responsibility of the student to provide. I will also make sure that each online assignment is prefaced with a lesson on how to operate the software or program that will be used, to ensure everyone has knowledge on how to properly use it.

For my future career, I plan on using a lot of media platforms and presentations, such as Prezi and Powerpoint, but also showing a lot of videos and using interactive software. I do not think I will be sing any math based softwares or complicated spreadsheets and softwares like that. I plan on teaching social sciences to higher level students, such as high school or college, so keeping interactive prominent in the lessons is important to me.
